Athalia in so many ways represents the worldly woman of the 21st century. She lusted after power, success, and prominence in society. And this desire for significance destroyed her. There are several lessons we can draw out of her negative example, but we're going to apply this lesson to the subject of modesty. We'll have a very frank discussion of dress, not just of what constitutes modest dress, but what our attitude in dress ought to be. |
