In
a time in which authority is increasingly questioned, rejected and
disregarded, young people who wish to follow Jesus face tremendous
challenges. The crucial
connection between faith and respect for authority can be easily
obscured in a world that has little regard for either. Jesus has all authority (Matthew
28:18). To respect authority is
to respect Him. His people must honor His authority
in the church, in society, at work, in schools and in the home. This series of Bible lessons is
designed to help young people have the faith to make Jesus the Lord of
their lives in every relationship.
Our goal is to encourage young men and women of faith to live
under authority to the glory of Christ who is the blessed and only
Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords (1 Timothy
6:15).
